Hey everyone!!
I first want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! May your stomachs be filled with food and your hearts with Love!
Now for the update on me :) I am spending this great American holiday on a Spanish Island of the coast of Africa called Las Palmas! It is part of the Canary Islands and we are staying with a nice young woman who works for Brandon’s dad :) we are staying in her apartment that is on the nineteenth floor with an incredible view of the ocean and port with lots of city lights between them and us. Getting here was a long 24 hours of travelling due to our stubbornness in getting here the cheapest way possible. A train, two taxis, two airplanes, and a friends car were involved in finally getting us to our beds for the night :) but after that I definitely slept well! We are planning on trying to find a small turkey or a chicken to cook for our hostess as a small view of what Thanksgiving is in America :) Thankfully, Brandon can cook so we shouldnt have any disaster stories.
I am sad to be missing out on family and friends of course and I wish I could be with them for at least today, but I am enjoying myself nonetheless. I hope that you all know you are in my heart, thoughts, and prayers, and I am very thankful to know I am in yours :)
Love you all!!!

Hey all,
I am back in Lugano and, excluding a few hitches, I had an absolute blast in Rome and then Barcelona! I remember why I am here now, traveling is what I Love. I will admit that it is nice to return back home for rest but it is still strange to think that this is home for now. It all still feels kinda like a dream world :) I have over 1600 pictures to go through and a couple projects to finish, but then I will be posting them all to fbook or using another site (that I will of course give the name of) since there is so many.
I finished my last midterm today and it felt alright so we will see what the grade comes out as. Tonight I am walking up the hill to the ancient monastery for a fun evening of scary stories and cider to build anticipation for what will surely be the strangest Halloween that I have ever been part of. I cant think of a better way to do it :)
I am not hearing from a lot of you so if you want to contact me through email, mine is tkeeton123@gmail.com and if you would like to send a letter ( which would be AWESOME) then my address here at school should be written as follows:
Travis Keeton
c/o Franklin College Switzerland
via Ponte Tresa 29
6924 Sorengo (Lugano)
Switzerland
I will of course do my best to respond quickly in the same way you contact me :) Other than that, I hope you and your families are all doing well and enjoying the changing of seasons!!
Love, hugs, and kisses,

Greetings!
Well that time is already here! My first mid-term is at 8 30 tomorrow morning. No fun! It is for my Poly Sci class and the teacher is kinda crazy so I’m not sure what he expects but it should be alright. After that class I have Physical Geography and then I am going on a Segway tour of Locarno! It is a close-by city and I am doing it for my FYS class. It should be very interesting! Then this weekend will be all about studying Italian. Rosetta Stone, Michelle Thomas, and Oggi will be my friends.
The weather is starting to cool down and the nights can be pretty chilly. I am not gonna complain though because it is much better than the muggy heat that greeted me in the first week here!
I have a test in Italian next Thursday and a mid-term in Music right after that, then a mid-term for Physical Geography on Friday. One day to pack and then thirty other students and I load a bus at 4am Sunday morning headed for Rome. Nothing but excited ;)
Miss everyone and Love you tons!

Hey ya’ll!
Im just checkin back in :) this weekend was pretty awesome. It is crazy how many people are there and how much some of them will drink. I got my souveniours though and tasted some beer I actually enjoyed so I definitely consider it a sucess! Driving the smart cars was super fun but sleeping in them was not ;) it took us about 7 hours of driving time one way. There is not many other things that are as awe inspiring as driving through the swiss alps as the sun comes up and seeing all the little mountain villages lit up.We got home at about 9 30 on Monday morning and I slept for two and a half hours before class at One. I think I am just now recovered from the lack of sleep :)
This weekend will be dedicated to homework and study for a mid-term in my intro to poly-sci class (I know it seems much too early for that). Until then I am going to spend all my free time trying to get my dorm room clean and getting all my pictures uploaded.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Love you and miss you,

Hey everyone, just thought I would do a quick update before I head out for a weekend of fun :) 5 friends and I are driving up to Munich in rented Smart Cars to enjoy the opening weekend of the 200th anniversary of Oktoberfest! I am secretly more excited just to be able to drive again ;) I will be safe and careful so no one worry! We are hoping to squeeze into the big tent and watch the official opening ceremonies :) I will try to take lots of pictures!!
The week was long but it wasn’t too bad. I got all my work turned in and I dont have too much homework to worry about this weekend which is great! I finally got my laundry done (at 2 am last night) and have discovered a joy of sharing one washing machine with a bilding full of people!
Well I need to pack my clothes as it will be time to go pick up the Smarts in just a few minutes!
Miss and Love you all!

Hey :) its late Sunday night here and I’m gettin ready for bed. I had quite the weekend… didn’t do a whole lot really but I did manage to lose a lense cap to the great lake Lugano! I went on a long walk and planned next weekend.. watched a soccer game Friday night (we tied 1 to 1).. did dishes.. spent an hour on Rosetta Stone.. and watched some tv with friends :)
Next weekend a group of six of us are planning to rent Smart cars and drive to munich for the first weekend of the giant Octoberfest celebration :) we will leave Friday night and come home Sunday night.
Also, I watched Casablanca tonight!! Quite possibly my new favorite movie! I cant wait to watch it again!
I plan to start a new photo-blog on tumblr and when I do I will put the link on here so that you can all check it out!
Love you and miss you!!

Hey everyone, its been a while since my last post but only because I didn’t have much to update on. I still don’t have a lot but I figured I might as well put something up ;) So today is a thursday and probably my most difficult day. I have my FYS at one, Italian at four, and then Music from 5:30 to 8:15. That class is so long because I only have it once a week :)
I stayed up late finishing a paper last night, but because my first class isn’t until one, it really doesnt make me that tired :) plus I got to talk to some friends at home! Yesterday was the first day of school at home and seeing everyone’s comments on Facebook was very strange! Its crazy to think that a year of school is starting at North Marion and no one from my grade is there!
Well I am going to make some breakfast now so I will post later!
Love and miss you all!!!
